Document – Form Locker for Elementor Forms

The Form Locker for Elementor Forms plugin allows you to restrict or protect access to any Elementor Form using various lock methods such as password protection, email verification, scheduling, user roles, or age verification.

It’s an essential tool when you want to control who can see your form, when they can see it, or how they can unlock it.

This plugin is perfect for:

  • Private registration forms
  • Event or survey forms with limited access
  • Age-restricted content submissions
  • Member-only forms
  • Time-limited campaigns

With Form Locker, you can ensure that your forms are only available to the right users, under the right conditions.

1. Setting Up the Form Locker

  1. Install and activate Form Locker for Elementor Forms.
  2. Edit your page with Elementor.
  3. Select your Form widget
  4. In the form settings, open Actions After Submit and add the action Locker. A new section called Form Locker will now appear below.
  5. Choose the verification type you want to use: Password, Email, Age, Schedule, or User Login.
  6. Customize the message that visitors will see.
  7. Save the page and test it on the frontend.

2. Password Protection

If you want to protect your form using a password, choose Password as your lock method.

  • Enter your desired password (e.g., 123456).
  • Add a custom message to appear below the password field (like “Please enter the password to continue”).

When a visitor opens the page, they’ll need to enter the correct password before the form becomes visible.

If they enter it correctly, the form will automatically unlock.

This method is ideal for internal forms, private client submissions, or exclusive content access.

3. Email Verification

If you want to protect your form using a password, choose Email as your lock method.

In this mode, users must first enter their email address.

The plugin then sends them a verification link, and once they click it, the form will automatically unlock.

This method ensures that users provide valid email addresses and helps prevent spam or fake submissions.

4. Age Verification

This method asks users to enter their birth date before they can view the form.

You can set a minimum, maximum or equal age.

Simply set the minimum age requirement — for example, “18.”

When a visitor enters their date of birth, the system automatically calculates their age.

If they meet the minimum requirement, the form will unlock; otherwise, they’ll see a restriction message.

This option is ideal for alcohol sales, adult content disclaimers, or age-restricted services.

5. Scheduling (Time-Based Access)

This option allows you to control when your form is visible.

6. Logged-in Users Only

If you only want logged-in users to access your form, toggle the button on.

If enabled, your form will only be visible to logged-in users. If user doesn’t have an account on your site or is just not logged in at the time they won’t be able to see the form.

This is ideal for membership sites, internal feedback forms, or client-only forms.

4. Tips

  • Always test the form after setting a verification type.
  • Use clear instructions in your messages so visitors know what to do.
  • For Email Verification, remind users to check their spam folder if they don’t see the confirmation.
  • With Schedule, you can create urgency, such as “Registration closes in 2 days.”
