1. How to Use
- Install and activate Form Locker for Elementor Forms.
- Edit your page with Elementor and add a Form widget (Elementor Pro required).
- In the form settings, open Actions After Submit and select Form Locker.
- Choose the verification type you want to use: Password, Email, Age, Schedule, or User Login.
- Customize the message that visitors will see.
- Save the page and test it on the frontend.
2. Examples
- Password Form: Visitors must enter a password (for example: 123456) before they can access the form.
- Email Form: Visitors type in their email, receive a confirmation link, and click it to unlock the form.
- Age Form: Visitors select their date of birth. The form opens only if they are old enough (for example, 18+).
- Schedule Form: The form is only available between specific dates (for example, from October 1 to October 31).
- User Login Form: Only users who are signed in can see or submit the form. Visitors who are not logged in will see a message asking them to log in.
3. Verification Types
Password
Require a password to unlock the form.
Useful for private or internal forms.
Require visitors to confirm their email address.
Helps prevent fake signups.
Age
Require visitors to meet an age rule: minimum, maximum, or exact age.
Useful for age-restricted content.
Schedule
Set start and end dates.
The form is locked outside this period.
User Login
Only logged-in users can view or submit the form.
Useful for member-only forms.
4. Tips
- Always test the form after setting a verification type.
- Use clear instructions in your messages so visitors know what to do.
- For Email Verification, remind users to check their spam folder if they don’t see the confirmation.
- With Schedule, you can create urgency, such as “Registration closes in 2 days.”
